  I have held a number of executive roles within multinational companies, both in the UK and during long-term overseas assignments. My three children are now independent and doing well in their careers, with one currently living in South Korea. Having benefited from a broad and well-rounded education, largely through international schools, they have given me a strong appreciation of the value of inclusive, high-quality learning experiences. As a school governor, I aim to bring the benefit of these personal and professional insights to Mead Road. Since becoming Chair in December 2023, I have drawn on my leadership experience to support and challenge the governing body effectively, helping the school achieve its strategic priorities and aiming to improve the wellbeing, opportunities, and life chances of every Mead Road child.

  I live in Chislehurst and have two teenage daughters and am passionate about supporting local schools. Having worked within the education sector, I have developed a strong understanding of school governance.

  I am especially committed to supporting children with SEND. I believe that the right support at the right time can have a lasting positive impact on a child's educational journey and future opportunities.

  Professionally, I am currently taking a career break. Prior to starting my family, I worked in the pensions and benefits sector after completing a degree in Business Management. Following this, I moved into education, beginning my career in school administration before progressing to the role of Exams Officer. Most recently, I completed a School Business Manager Diploma, which has strengthened my understanding of school leadership, finance, governance, and strategic planning.

  I am a parent living in the local community and currently taking an extended career break to focus on raising my children.

  Before this, I spent nearly 20 years working in finance and leadership roles across Ernst & Young, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. I hold an MSc in Finance and am a Chartered Accountant.

  Having seen first-hand the positive impact that schools can have on children's confidence, wellbeing and future opportunities, I was keen to become a governor and contribute to the school community.

  As a governor, I hope to use my experience to support the school's leadership team and help ensure that all pupils receive the best possible educational experience.

  I live in the Bromley Borough and have two children. Being part of this community is a part of who I am. I was drawn to become a governor at Mead Road because I believe in the power of early education. Those first school years shape confidence, curiosity, and the foundations for lifelong learning at a time when children's development is at its most rapid and impressionable.

  Professionally, I work in corporate strategy in the energy sector, and I love being able to bring that experience into a role with real social purpose. It gives me the ability to step back, see the bigger picture, and support the school's leadership in making thoughtful, future‑focused decisions that help every child at Mead Road thrive.

  I began my career in law and legal technology before spending more than twenty years managing residential and commercial projects in the UK and UAE property sectors. As a qualified Building Surveyor, I provide consultancy services across all aspects of construction and surveying.

  I have lived in Chislehurst for many years and, before being co-opted, served as a parent governor. I am committed to helping shape the school's future by ensuring decisions are carefully scrutinised, implemented in line with policy, and considered for their impact on the whole school community. I bring experience in teamwork, collaborative decision making and strategic planning. At the school, my main area of focus is sustainability.

  My connection with Mead Road Infant School began long before I became a governor, as I am also a former pupil.

  I am passionate about contributing to my local community and supporting young people to have the best possible start in life. I see my role as a school governor as a meaningful opportunity to apply my professional experience in governance, risk, delivery, and stakeholder engagement to a role with clear social purpose, helping to foster a school environment where every child feels encouraged, included, and able to reach their full potential.

  Professionally, I work as a Manager in Strategy and Architecture, leading complex technology and transformation initiatives across both public and private sector environments. My experience encompasses technology transformation, project delivery, data analysis, risk management, systems implementation, and stakeholder engagement. I am adept at establishing robust governance structures, managing risks and dependencies, analysing data to inform recommendations, coordinating diverse stakeholders, and supporting the controlled delivery of change programmes. Much of my work involves helping organisations make well-informed decisions, manage change effectively, identify risks early, and bring people together around clear plans and shared outcomes.

  As a governor, I would aim to bring a structured, collaborative, and objective perspective to the governing board. I hope to contribute by providing constructive challenge, supporting strong governance, and contributing to thoughtful, evidence-based decision-making. I would be proud to support the school in maintaining strong oversight, making well-informed decisions, and ensuring that resources, systems, and processes continue to support a safe, effective, and ambitious learning environment for all pupils, staff, and families.

  As a parent in the Orion community, becoming a Governor felt like a meaningful way to give something back and play a part in supporting the school's future. I work in Risk and Compliance, where my role focuses on governance, oversight, and helping organisations make informed and responsible decisions.
  
  I hope to bring that experience into the school environment by providing constructive challenge and supporting strong governance, while helping ensure children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. I'm proud to be part of the school community and contribute in a positive way.

  I have been proud to be part of the Mead Road team for nearly a decade and feel deeply passionate about both the school and its pupils. During my time here, I have led, and continue to lead, English, Maths and Computing, as well as overseeing Professional and Personal Development across the school. I have also worked across a range of primary schools within the Trust as a Writing Lead, and bring experience from teaching in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in different primary settings.

  I have served as a governor for the past four years and remain committed to ensuring that every child receives a high-quality education, with the support and opportunities they need to thrive.
